14 Dec Make It Rain | Supporting The Historic Northeast-Midtown Association To Change The Future For Kansans
Each of us is accountable for our destiny. The best way to predict the future is to create it. With a just a little more knowledge, will, and patience anyone can create the financial future they deserve. Let’s channel our hard earned money, relationships, and energy away from being the greatest consumers of goods in America to becoming the greatest investors, owners and producers of goods in America who generate more wealth and income for people across all walks of life.
What a great way to close out the week! Thanks to Elnora Tellis-Jefferson, President of the Historic Northeast-Midtown Association in Kansas City, Kansas (KCK), for providing an opportunity to share my story and financial tips with their community partners and members at their annual luncheon.
Elnora’s org is committed to restoring the vibrancy of once thriving communities in KCK and that includes helping citizens build wealth and successfully manage their hard earned money. They are also in the beginning stages of creating a cooperative grocery store to provide good food to their neighbors who lack a local grocer.
I also had a great surprise connecting with Kansas State Senator David Haley who expressed an interest in having me meet with others in the legislation to advocate for personal finance and investing courses in our schools.
If you live in the KCK community and want to help rebuild the community one person, one house, one building, one business at a time or support their dream of opening a new grocery store I hope you’ll connect with Elnora of HNMA at www.northeastkck.org.
